Friday - Pole Vault officials
please report at 11:00. All other officials report at 12:15. Saturday
All officials report to Malabar
cafeteria for coffee and doughnuts at 8:30. Event meetings begin promptly
at 9:00.
All races will conclude at
the common finish line of the south straightaway. The shuttle hurdle relay
has been re-instituted and will be contested at the 36" height.
The Facility
The all-weather track is composed of a newly resurfaced
latex. it has ten, 42-inch lanes all around the track. there are also
two vaulting, high jump and long jump areas. The shot put and discus pads
have a rough cement surface and long jump pits have white sand.
Awards
Trophies, medals, and individual awards are donated
to the many winners of the Relays for them to keep as momentos of their
participation. We spend an average of $5,000 to purchase these awards.
Medals will be presented to each point-scoring athlete.
